Ione Rice, 96, of Dallas passed away March 9, 2014.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 13, at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Dale Moreland, Associate Pastor, The Church at Quail Creek, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Ione Rice went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Ione was born on December 9, 1917 in Stephenville, Texas, Erath County. She moved to Amarillo in 1940 and has been in residence since. Ione was a loyal member of The Church at Quail Creek for 60 years. She attended Sunday school class taught by Dr. Stan Coffey and taught Children’s Sunday school for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Rice.
She is survived by her son Jerry Rice of McKinney, daughter Delise Noel and husband Andrew of Coppell, and three grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
