Irene was born on July 25, 1950, in Guymon, Oklahoma, to Curtis Henry Reust and Wavia Elvinia Brewer. She graduated from Guymon High School in 1968.
On August 26 th , 2003, she married Kenneth L. Jones Sr. Irene was a devoted wife and mother. To her stepchildren, she was "the mother they always wanted." Irene was also known for her immaculate housekeeping, and everything was always clean and tidy.
"Aunt Doe" to her nieces and nephews and "Gangi" to her grandchildren. Irene always strived to care for those around her. Being surrounded by family filled her heart with joy. She had a great sense of humor and often liked to prank and tease. Irene loved bright colors and decorating with watermelons. In her younger years, she loved motorcycles, and camping, especially at the cabin in Eagle Nest. She did experience drag racing once, at 160 mph; that ride was her first and her last, but she loved every second of it.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jack Reust, and her first husband, James Tramel.
She is survived by daughters Angela Turner and husband, Tim and LaTonya Hoke; four sons: Kevin Jones and wife Cheri; Victor Tramel; Rodney Webb; and Kenneth L. Jones Jr.; her sister, Loveda Boothby and her brothers: Wardell Reust; Curtis Reust; and Tommy Reust.
While Ann loved all of her eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, she had an extra special bond with Kayla Wright, Keli Kent, Branson Turner, Krista Jones, and Kate Jones. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew her as their 'Gangi,' and she was adored by all of them. We know she will be watching over Kayla and her husband, Ricky, from heaven as they prepare to bring baby Roxann into the world to be her 8th grandchild.
