Jack L. Borger passed away, March 23, 2014, in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Mr. Dick Marcear, The Church of Christ at The Colonies officiating. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Jack was born on November 24, 1940 in Borger to Lacy and Veda Borger. He graduated from Amarillo High and WTAMU. Jack married the love of his life, Sue in 1967. He was a CPA and a lifetime member of the Texas CPA Association. Jack loved bowling, fishing and golfing and was devoted to family and friends. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at The Craig and Hospice care of the Southwest for their care and support and a special thank you to Mike Borger.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joann Hampton.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Bonin and husband Ben, of Amarillo; two sons, Danny Borger and wife, Caroline, of Mansfield, and Randy Borger and wife, Angela, of San Angelo; one brother, Lacy Borger, of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Blake Wattenburger and wife Eva, Lydia Wesley and husband Kincy, Jack Wattenburger, Lauren Coward and husband David, Chase Borger and wife Jennifer, Mark Borger, Brooklyn Borger, and Bailey Borger, and 4 beautiful great-granddaughters; and many loved nieces and nephews..
