Jackie Hall, age 66, of Amarillo died December 31, 2014 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. Kurt O’Heim will officiate. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Jackie was born in Tulia on August 30, 1948 to James and Wanda McMahon. She graduated from Hereford High School and attended Amarillo College to obtain her nursing degree. She worked as an OBGYN nurse until her health prevented her from working.
Jackie was fond of gardening and loved flowers particularly orchids ad lily’s. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who had a passion for her family, including her four legged companion, Cassie Lou and her birds. She also spent time reading her bible and attending Pinnacle Community Church as her health allowed.
Jackie was a great cook and loved to go shopping, especially at Kohl’s. She also enjoyed working puzzles and was a fan of the Walking Dead.
She was preceded in death by her father and by her husband Larry Hall in 1984.
The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 4PM until 5PM.
She is survived by her children, Melody Blankenship and her husband Daniel, Darla Allison and her husband Ed of Albuquerque, Crystalle Weiss and her husband Tony of Amarillo and Johnny Hall and his wife Linda of Fredonia, KS; her mother Wanda Preston Carter of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
