Jaime Dominic Escalante, Jr., 20 of Amarillo died Friday, July 28, 2017.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, 1200 S Washington.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral with Rev. Scott Raef as Celebrant. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia St, Amarillo Texas 79110.
Jaime was born September 22, 1996 in El Paso to Jaime Sr. and Genis Escalante. He graduated from Randall High School in 2016. He worked in the Deli and Hot Bar at United on 45th Avenue and Bell Street. Jaime was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and best friend to all.
Jaime is survived by his parents, Jaime Sr. and Genis Escalante; his sisters, Zoe and Eden Escalante; his brother, Cesar Escalante, all of Amarillo; his grandparents, Raul and Lupe Escalante of El Paso and Richard and Higie Duran of OK; and many other family members.
