James Martin Nation, 75, of Amarillo, died Saturday, January 13, 2015.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Paramount Baptist Church with Rev. Lance Herrington officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia St.
James was born on March 24, 1939 in Gilmer, Texas to James Warren and Frances Nation. He married Nancy Ethel Grimm in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Francine, a son James Irwin and a grandson Aaron Delbrouck.
Survivors include his wife of Amarillo; five daughters, Tammy Craddock of Copperas Cove, Mary Nation of Denton, Gaynette Foreman and husband Wesley of Amarillo, Wendy Huggett of Amarillo, Deresa Parr of Portland OR, and Lori Ann Sparks of Oklahoma City; two sons Jackie Nation of Denton and Monty Huggett of Vancouver WA; three brothers Ennis Nation of Emory, Richard Nation of Grandview and Randy Nation of Ada OK; twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
