Memorial Services will be at 2PM on Tuesday, January 8th at Schooler Funeral Home Chapel, 4100 South Georgia, Amarillo conducted by Dr. Roger Hubbard, Pastor Lake Tanglewood Community Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa at 4PM.
Janet Nisbet Tipton was born April 4, 1955 in Austin to Bobbie H. Nisbet & C. Scott Nisbet. After living in Houston 10 years the family moved to Pampa where she graduated from Pampa High School in January 1973. She and Michael Tipton were married March 7, 1998 in Bullhead City, Arizona and had a happy life in Amarillo.
Janet has had a special career where she made many friends. She worked for Mesa for 20 years, Jack B. Kelley Co. for 10 years and with Downtown Women’s Center until her illness forced her retirement 3 weeks ago. She loved her work with DWC and was brokenhearted to retire. Being honored as The Employee of the Year for 2018 by DWC was a wonderful surprise and appreciated so much. The staff of DWC will always have a very special place in the hearts of the Tipton and Nisbet families.
