J.B. "Tom" Askew, Jr.

J.B. “Tom” Askew, Jr., 72, of Amarillo died December 4, 2018.

There will be no services by his wishes. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Tom was born August 25, 1946 in Memphis, TN to J.B. Askew and Emma Lou Baswell. He was a hair stylist in Amarillo for 52 years. He had many loving friends and will be dearly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Emma “Joy” Askew; and life partner, Warren Neil Hawkins.

Tom is survived by his sister, June Wakefield and husband David; caregivers and nephews, Steve Wakefield and wife Mary and Lloyd Wakefield and wife Glendora; and many other family members; dear friends, Ted Goebel and Dennis Brown; and riding buddies, Teresa and Durwood.
