Jean Ware, 88, of Amarillo died September 24, 2014.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2014 in St. Laurence Catholic Church with Rev. Ed Sweeney officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Jean was born February 10, 1926 in Port Marion, Pennsylvania to John and Nellie Connell. She graduated from Charlesoi, PA High School. Jean married Robert Gene Ware on April 7, 1951 at St. Jerome’s Church. She attendedMercy Hospital School of Nursing. Jean was a registered nurse and exercised her knowledge until the end. She was a member at St. Laurence Catholic Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Johanne Connell, her husband, Robert, her daughters, Robert Jean Ware and Rebecca Nell Ware.
Jean is survived by her sons, John Connell Ware and Duncan Robert Ware, her grandchildren, Jenifer Martin, Candice Ware, Jason Norsworthy, Jeremy Ware, Kylie McClaren, Mollie Fisher, Connell Ware, Olivia Ware, John A Ware, Sarah Grace Ware, Mary Catherine Ware, and Juliana Ware, her great grandchildren, Kinsley Martin, Briggs Martin, and Joelle Ware.
A rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2014 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel.
The family suggests memorials be made to BSA Hospice C/o Olivia’s Angels.
