Jeremiah "Miah" Crockett Heath, 45, of Yukon, OK, was born July 19th, 1979 in Ashland, OR, and passed from this life on May 2, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK.
His family moved to Amarillo, TX, in 1981 where Miah was raised with his twin brother Christopher Alan Heath. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School until grade 6 when his family moved to Germany as part of a year long teacher exchange program. They moved back to Amarillo where he attended Austin Middle School and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1997. Jeremiah met Amber at Tascosa and they started dating a few years after graduation and were married on June 30th of 2001. Miah worked for years as an Assistant Manager for Discount Tire, both in Lubbock and Amarillo and several years ago transitioned to wholesale tires with American Tire Distributors where he was in outside sales. He took a position in Yukon OK, 4 years ago and enjoyed his new adventure. Jeremiah was known for being a happy, hard worker that loved life. His life revolved around his family, particularly his loving wife and precious daughters as well as his parents and twin brother.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ivan F. Crockett, Jr. and paternal grandparents Orrin L. Heath Sr. and Jacquelin Burcell.
Survivors include the love of his life, Amber Monroe Heath; his two beautiful daughters Madison age 10 and Sawyer age 5; parents Orrin Lewis Heath Jr. and Donna Crockett-Heath of Marcola, OR; twin brother Christopher Alan Heath and wife Sarah Heath; sister's-in-law & brother's-in-law Colby and Felicia Monroe, Shayna and Eric Moreno; parents-in-law Doug and Kim Monroe and grandmother Lorraine Crockett all of Amarillo, TX, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends around the country.
Viewing will be held 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., Monday, May 4th, 2015 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK, with funeral services to be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
Viewing will be held 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., Thursday, May 7th at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX, with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 8th at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, 1200 S. Washington St., Amarillo, TX. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, TX.
