John Franklin Kratochvil, 50, of Amarillo passed away September 23, 2015.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Scott Raef officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
John was born January 12, 1965 to John Nicholas and Norma Kratochvil in Amarillo. John was passionate about his family however his daughter Alyssa was the light of his life and gave him great joy. He also adored his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His love of family was followed by his love of the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburg Steelers. John will forever be known for kind soul and sweet spirit.
He was preceded in death by his father John Nicholas Kratochvil on January 2, 2013.
John is survived by his wife, Sheryl; a daughter, Alyssa Paige Kratochvil; two step-sons, Anthony Banes and Ryan Fleming; his mom, Norma Kratochvil, all of Amarillo; a sister Sharon Bradford and husband Tim of Plano; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
