John David Plummer, 87 of Amarillo died on March 8, 2015 in Amarillo, TX.
Funeral services will be @ 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel 4100 S. Georgia St. Amarillo, TX. Burial will be inLlano Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home .
Mr. Plummer was born March 27, 1927 in Bowden, Oklahoma to David and Alice Plummer.
He married Dorothy Marsh on April 10, 1948 and they lived in Kermit from 1951 until moving to Amarillo in 2011.Mr Plummer worked for Sid Richardson Gas Refinery retiring at age 55.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Amarillo, a son Jerry Plummer and wife Carolyn of Amarillo; daughter Janet Tidwell and husband Mike of Ft. Worth, TX.; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren
