Johnny Ray Rinehart

Johnny Ray Rinehart, 61, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Christian Heritage Church, 900 S Nelson, with Lead Pastor Craig Lawlis officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Johnny was born June 30, 1955 in Amarillo to L. B. and Tennie Lue Rinehart. He graduated from Palo Duro High School. He married Charla Rains in May of 1976 in Amarillo. Johnny worked for many years in the stockyards and later at Plains Creamery. In 1984 he started working with ministries at Christian Heritage Church which has been his passion ever since, including All The Children’s Cafe. He also loved mowing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronnie Rinehart; and four grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Charla; his daughter, Tiffany Bunch and husband Billy; his sons, Brandon Rains, Jeremy Rinehart and wife Holly, and Mark Rinehart and wife Sofia; his brother Donnie Rinehart; and sixteen grandchildren; all of Amarillo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to All The Children’s Cafe, 900 S Nelson, Amarillo, Texas 79104.
