Joseph Eugene Farmer, born in Owosso, Michigan on March 5, 1947, passed away on December 26th, at the age of 74.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.
Joe was the son of the late George and Francis Farmer and the late Lorene Farmer Jasper. Joseph attended Palo Duro High School before receiving his GED. He was inducted into the U.S Army in September of 1966 completing the majority of his service in Germany. It was during his military career that he was taught how to operate a crane. He was a crane operator for the rest of his profession before retiring in 2002.
Joseph married his beloved wife, Juanell Farmer, July of 1986. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle, friend and his favorite title Papa.
He is survived by his wife, his six children, Paul Carter and wife Lynette, Cisco Farmer, Tammy Hanks and husband Dave, Chad Ragan, Toby Burge and Zachary Anzaldua, his seven grandkids, Breanna, Holden, Darian, Conner, Emery, Sabina, Abel and his seven great grandkid, Draven, Kennedy, Cason, Bennett, Ava, Brock and Mack, a brother Bill Farmer and wife Barbara and his sisters Debbie Vreeland, Vicki Fowler and husband Sam, Kathy Ensminger and husband Larry, Becky Miller and several nieces and nephews.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Doug Farmer and a nephew Andrew Perkins.
