NAME: Juan “Johnny” Francisco Aragon, age 62 of Amarillo passed away May 8th
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday May 13, 2013 at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Rev. Jim Shelburne officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia
Johnny was born Sept 7, 1950 in Ocate N.M. to Salomon and Ramona Aragon and graduated from Clayton High before enlisting in the Navy on December 11, 1968. He served 4yrs during Vietnam. He had lived in Amarillo for the past 5 years, cared for by his sister Mary.
His enjoyed bodywork and painting cars; he also built model cars. Johnny loved music and the company of his dogs. He loved and missed his family and friends of Clayton N.M.
John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts by troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and I will take you there; that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
He had the biggest heart and only kind words to say and would help anyone in need. Our dearest Johnny, you will always be in our hearts and we will cherish our memories of you forever. You are deeply loved by your family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Salomon & Ramona Aragon, brother, Ernest Aragon and grandson, Joshua Gish.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughter, Pauline Gish; two granddaughters Victoria and Brianna; grandson; Jonathon all of Clayton N.M.; three brothers; Clim Aragon of Clayton N.M, Salomon Aragon of Dalhart TX., Ramon Aragon of Pueblo CO.; four sisters, Mary Aragon and Dolores (Dolly) Aragon of Amarillo TX., Naomi Sanchez of Pueblo CO. and Margaret Espinosa of Las Vegas N.M.; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
