JUDITH “JUDY” WILLIAMS DANIEL, age 66 of Amarillo died October 23, 2013 in Amarillo.
MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 AM at Oasis Southwest Baptist Church, 8201 Canyon Drive. Rev. Chester Beavers will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Judy was born in Abernathy on November 27, 1946 to D.O. and Naomi Williams. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1965. It was shortly after high school she went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone. Judy worked there for thirty one years. Even after retirement, she maintained the long time relationships formed at Southwestern Bell and was a part of the “Dinosaur Group” of retirees.
After Judy retired from Southwestern Bell, she worked for the Baptist Community Services at The Continental for six years until recently when her health declined.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Gary Williams and Jack Williams; and a sister Bobbie Golsby.
She is survived by a sister, Ella Seaton of California and several nephews, nieces, great nephews, great-nieces, great-great nephews and great-great nieces.
