Judy was born October 22, 1941 in Amarillo to Clarence and Iris Clark. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1960. She attended SW Texas State and Amarillo College. She was a medical transcriptionist for the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic for many years. She loved all animals and was an avid PETA supporter. She loved spending time with her dog, Chelsea and her cat, Orphan Annie. She enjoyed reading Stephen King and books about cosmology. She had a very sweet spirit and was very considerate to others. She always had a tender heart for anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kitty Mixon and her daughter Laura Elizabeth Alexander.
Judy is survived by her husband, Bruce C. Pruitt; her two sons, Charles Aaron Alexander and wife Blanca and Jeremy Lee Alexander and wife Katrina, both of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Dillion, Jentry and Jordan; her niece, Candy Vann and son James Vann; her brother-in-law Allen Mixon, her nephew Wiley Mixon, and her lifelong best friends, Arnie and Jeanette Duncan.
