FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Hillside Amarillo South Church. Mr. Roger Arnold of Hillside Amarillo South Church and Jeff Messer will be officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Judy Sanders was born December 9, 1967 in Abilene, Texas to Ernest and Ginger Bernier. She married Eddie Aaron Sanders on December 22, 1992. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, who through her faith in Christ affected the lives of everyone with whom she interacted.
Judy was especially proud of her husband, Eddie and daughter, Raven. She was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild, and adored her time with her brother, Wayne and his family.
She was extremely grateful for the love and support demonstrated over the past few weeks by the Amarillo Police Department and all friends and family, especially her lifelong, best friend, Sandra Lester.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Roy and Leila Murrah, paternal grandparents, Ernest J and Ione Bernier and step-grandparents, Freeman and Florence Gwyn.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Aaron Sanders; daughter, Raven Morae Sanders of Amarillo, TX; mother and dad, Ginger and Richard Gwyn of Houston, TX; father and step-mother, Ernest Lee and Linda Bernier of Corpus Christi, TX; brother, Wayne Bernier and wife, Stephanie of Amarillo, TX; Niece, Alyssa Bernier of Amarillo, TX and Nephew, Landon Bernier of Amarillo, TX.
The family suggests memorials be made to Amarillo Police Family Benefit Fund, 200 SE 3rd, Amarillo, TX 79101, or tithe to your church in honor of Judy.
Family will receive friends and family on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home.
