Judy Sneed

Judy was born Jan. 22, 1926, on a farm outside Hawley to Cyrus and Bernice McCleod Simpson. She graduated from Abilene High School and attended Pepperdine University and Abilene Christian University.She married Paul Jones Sneed Jr. on Aug. 17, 1947. The two of them had four children.Judy was a member of Central Church of Christ for 46 years.Survivors include two daughters, Diane Sneed Scott of Amarillo and Shirley Sneed Cope of Lubbock; two sons, Paul J. Sneed III of Amarillo and Larry Sneed of Norman, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Twyla, Erin, Josh, Megan, Scott, Nikki and Blane; and 14 great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79118-4119.
