Judy was a dedicated Christian who loved and served the Lord. She was also an artist, musician, and entrepreneur. She was always gracious, hospitable, and loving which led to her having a large circle of friends in addition to her family.
Judy was born on January 21, 1916 in Kirk, CO and grew up in Walla Walla, WA where she studied voice at the Whitman Conservatory of Music. After her years at the conservatory, she moved to Boulder, CO where she met her husband, Charles Clark. They raised their family in Amarillo, TX and later moved to Albuquerque, NM. There she started a very successful finishing school called, The Judy Clark Studio; which impacted the lives of countless young women. Her family has so many memories of her fashion shows and TV commercials, which sometimes included her children.
The family later moved to Amarillo, TX where she found a love for oil painting. Judy painted many fine works of art, landscapes and florals being her favorites. She had a beautiful soprano voice and sang in the church choir. She volunteered with the Amarillo Symphony Guild, Saint Catherine’s Guild, and Amarillo Opera Guild. Judy will always be remembered by her friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as a warm and empathetic woman who loved Jesus.
Judy was loved by so many and is survived by her children, Stephen Clark, Carolyn Miller, and Candace Clark; as well as, 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
