FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Kathleen Prescott was born on January 3, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Kellogg and Rosemary Lyndes. She received her nursing degree from Amarillo College in 1982. She dedicated her nursing career to the Heritage Convalescent Center for 27 years. Her true life’s passion was caring for the elderly and improving the quality of the lives. She spent her free time with her patients on special outing and activities that brightened their lives because that is what meant the most to her. She was an avid animal lover who believed in animal rescue. She donated to the ASPCA and the animal rescue center regularly. Kathy was an amazing mother and grandmother that loved and cherished her family and friends more than words can describe.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a great friend, Rue C. Davidson in November 7, 2004.
She was survived by a daughter, Jammie Fladebo of Amarillo, TX; two sons, Jason Fladebo and Scott Fladebo, both of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Mary Glyn and husband, Gary of Missoula, Montana and their children, Kelsey and Connar; two brothers, Kelly Lyndes and Chris Lyndes, both of Missoula, Montana; Granddaughter, Riley Kae Sims of Amarillo, TX; her best friend, Gena Davidson and all the staff members of Heritage.
