Katie Morgan LaFemina

Katie was born in Hobart, Ok on April 21, 1971 to Jerry Morgan and Janet McKee.  She grew up in Amarillo.  She then moved to Florida where she met the love of her life, Anthony.  They moved back to Amarillo to be close to family.  Katie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.  Her life revolved around her entire family, putting their needs above hers.    She fought a courageous battle with cancer, impacting and inspiring anyone who met her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Wanda Hickenbottom,  Harlan Franklin and a niece Megan Nicole Hale SURVIVORS:Her husband, AnthonyHer father, Jerry Morgan and his wife Sherry of Lawton, OKHer mother, Janet and her step father, Carol McKee of Amarillo, TXDaughters, Stephanie Gerber of Amarillo; Katrina and Isabella LaFemina of Rutland, VTSisters, Teresa “Teri” Denise Guzman of Amarillo; Tammy Morgan Rose of Amarillo; Chelsea Thurman of Amarillo; Tina Morgan of Thackerville, OK; Tami Byerly of Fort Bragg, NC and Angie Jones of Sanger, TXBrother, Joe Embry of Amarillo, TXAlso by many other extended family
