Kelly Kaye Saunders

Kelly Saunders, age 50, formerly of Amarillo, passed away in Eagles Nest, NM, December 27, 2010.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, at Brentwood Chapel, Schooler Funeral Home.  Rev. Roy Wheeler will officiate.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Mrs. Saunders was born January 29, 1960, to Ernest and Kaye Gallas Walker in Amarillo, Texas.  She attended Amarillo High School.Kelly moved to Angel Fire, New Mexico in 1979, where she met her husband.  They lived in Florida, Hawaii and several years in New York before returning to Angel Fire in 1994.She was preceded in death by a son, Shane, and her grandparents.She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Amanda Kaye Saunders of Eagles Nest and Erin Corliss Saunders of Albuquerque; son, Eric Saunders of Eagles Nest; her parents Ernest Walker of Amarillo and Kaye Greb of Arlington; two brothers, Kevin Walker and wife, Victoria of Arlington, TX; Kameron Walker and wife, Jill of Amarillo; one granddaughter, Sierra Kaye, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family requests memorials to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, PO Box 1014, Amarillo, TX 79105-1014; Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society, 3501 S. Osage, Amarillo, TX 79109; or to your favorite charity.
