Kenneth G Helsel

KENNETH G. HELSEL, age 89 of Amarillo, died December 19, 2010 in Amarillo.Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.  Robert Helsel will officiate.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia Amarillo, Texas.Kenneth was born in Pratt, KS to Earl and Mary Helsel on May 23, 1921. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII.   He married Mary Helsel in1956 in Clayton, NM.  Kenneth worked in the oil and gas industry for over forty years with Panhandle Eastern.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary on December 19, 2008.He is survived by his daughter Nancy Helsel of Amarillo; his son Rick Helsel and wife Teresa of Houston; and by three grandchildren.
