Kenneth A. Larance, age 71 of Amarillo died January 15, 2013.
Funeral Services are Monday, January 21 at 10:00 A.M. at Cross Pointe Church, 4400 S.
Washington, with Dr. Sheldon DeVries officiating. Burial is at Memory Gardens.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Sunday from 5-6 PM.
Kenneth was born on January 15, 1942 in Shackelford CO, Texas to Wesley W. and Mary A. Larance. He married Jeanne Timmons on August 31, 1991. He was a mechanic by trade and was owner of Ken’s Battery & Golf Cars for over 16 years. He and his wife attended CrossPointe Church. He received the ultimate birthday gift this year by going Home to his Lord and Savior on his birthday.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and his first wife, Betty Larance.
He is survived by his wife , Jeanne Larance; 2 sons, David and wife Denice Larance of Edmond, OK and Donald & Marcy Larance of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Darla Larance of McAlester, OK; Jana Brunson & husband James of Marrietta OK Katie Springfield of Abilene; 2 stepsons, David Timmons and wife Robin and Bob Timmons and wife Becky; 2 stepdaughters, Kim Monroe & husband Doug and Deborah Rolland; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Ray Larance and wife Doris; Roy Larance & wife Jeanne; Glen Larance and Rick Larance;; 3 sisters, Sue Lee & husband Thomas, Mary Ruth Lyon and Velma Lou Dossey and a host of nieces and nephews.
