Kevin B. McIntyre

Kevin B. McIntyre, 63, of Amarillo passed away June 21, 2022.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Nazarene Church, 2720 Campus Drive, Garden City, KS. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Kevin was born December 1, 1958 to Bruce and Margarett McIntyre. He graduated from Garden City High School then attended and graduated from Garden City Community College. On April 15, 1977 married Tami Glaze they moved to Uvalde, TX where he worked for Williamson Drilling before working with his Dad as a water well driller at M&W drilling company, which his dad owned. He was also a volunteer EMT for 8 years in Uvalde. Moving back to Garden City in the late 80's going to work for Tyson working as a Maintenance tech and later as a supervisor. He retired in 2012. He was an avid hunter & fisher. He loved playing his harmonica making up his own songs. He was always the life of the party and a jokester.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce & Margarett McIntyre; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews.

Kevin is survived by daughters, Tasha Rhodes (Dustin), Tara Greskoviak (Joey), and Trista Trammell (Brandon); sisters, Kim Garcia (Joe) and Kerri Sperry (Richard); brother in laws, Steve Glaze (Ramie), Darren Glaze (Cindy), and Chris Glaze (Marti); and 10 grandkids, Samantha, Tavianna (Braxton), Jayden, Ashley, Kayden, Brycen, Haylee, Zayden, Zella, and Brody.
