Kyle Odell Leach, 37, of Amarillo passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.
The family will receive guests at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm. A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10am at Anna St Church of Christ, 2310 Anna St, with Lyndon Latham presiding.
Kyle was born on April 5, 1984 in Amarillo to Danny Sr and Marilyn (Talley) Leach. He was a 2002 graduate of Caprock High School.
Kyle loved sports. It didn’t matter what it was, if it was competitive, he watched it. Basketball, football and baseball were among his favorites, but he would watch any sport. There were times when his family would enter the room and Kyle would be glued to the TV. No one knew what sport it actually was, but Kyle did, and he could explain it to you very quick. The Houston Astros were “his team”, and if they were playing, he found a way to watch.
His love of sports failed in comparison to his true love, and that was his family. Even through his own personal struggles, he loved his family with a passion unequal to anything. He was described as a great brother and beloved son. His deepest love was of course his son Jacoby Ryan. Nothing held water when compared to how much he treasured his little boy.
Kyle is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his beloved mother Marilyn. Those left to cherish his memories are his son, his father Danny Leach Sr, sister Michelle Leach, brothers Christopher and Danny Jr, and his nieces Jada Price and Berkley Ragland; as well as his great niece Brileigh Ringo and many other loving family and dear friends.
