Lawrence Michael Hart, 19, of Amarillo passed on October 29, 2022.
A celebration of Lawrence’s life will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10am in the Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia with Glen Switzer officiating.
Lawrence was born on June 25, 2003 in Amarillo, Texas to Eddie Hart and Sherrie Salas. From an early age, Lawrence was never one to shy away from hard work. He worked hard in everything he did. He played youth football, and eventually began playing club ball. His work ethic on the field led to many championships with his teammates. This desire to excel led him to working equally as hard for AAA Signs and Hi-Plains Canvas alongside his father.
Lawrence found solace in music. If it were up to him, Tupac would be playing all day, every day. He found great enjoyment and escape out of cruising around with his friends with the stereo blaring. Lawrence also had an impeccable sense of style. He collected Jordan’s and hats and when he stepped out, “the hat had to match the J’s.
Lawrence loved to see everyone around him win. When he left a room, he made sure to tell everyone, “Keep your head up”. And if you told him the same he would reply, “Always”. Lawrence was a light unto the world that will be sorely missed.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his cousin “Lexi” Lopez and step grandmother Teresa Freethy.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, step-mother, Jessie Meeves, brothers Jordan Hart and Shawn Owens, paternal grandparents Margaret Hart and Terry Freethy, maternal grandparents Daniel and Lynda Salas; four uncles, three aunts, numerous cousins and many beloved friends.
