Lecrishia Sellers, 50, of Amarillo, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2014.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Lecrishia was born September 21, 1963 in Amarillo, TX. She spent her earlier years in Amarillo and moved to California in 1966 with her family. She graduated from Granada High school in 1982 in Livermore, CA. After graduation she worked for AT&T for several years. She was married to Paul McMillan in March 1987. The family relocated to Amarillo in 1995. Their daughter Violet Ann was born in July of that year.
Lecrishia met the love of her life, Alan Sellers, about 10 years ago. They were married September 7th of last year. They loved traveling to casinos in surrounding states for fun and gambling. Family and friends were always asked to join them for all the fun. They always enjoyed their time together and loved spending time together no matter what they were doing. She also loved spending time with her grandson, Brandon.
Lecrishia took pride in her ability to always find a bargain and never paid full price for anything. Most things in her home were recycled and her wardrobe was always very stylish.
She would help anyone, at any time, with anything they needed. She had a great big heart and gave to many charities in the area.
Lecrishia was also a true cat lover and had two lovely cats for the last ten years.
She is survived by her husband, Alan; her daughter, Violet; her stepdaughter, Cynthia; her parents, Virgil and Charlett Geopfert, of Amarillo; her grandson, Brandon; and her mother in law, Dorothy Burt.
