Lee Aragon

Lee R. Aragon, 64 of Canyon, Texas went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2019.

Visitation will be held on April 9 2019, from 6-8pm at Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on April 10, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 4122 S. Bonham officiated by Fr. Juan Carlos Barragan. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

He was born May 16, 1954 in Guymon, OK to Rogelio Aragon & Paublita (Salas) Aragon. He was raised in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated from Clovis High School in 1972. He was a participant in Golden Gloves Boxing and Junior Rodeo Association and received many awards. His hobbies included horses, rodeo & leather work. He relocated to Amarillo, Texas and was employed by the meat packing industry before accepting a position with Owens Corning in 1991. He remained there until his retirement 25 years later.

He married Pamela Henderson Aragon on May 26, 1990. Together they raised 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Aragon and children Cindy Parker and husband Kenny of Fowler, Colorado and son John C. Graham of Bryan, Texas. His grandchildren include Shawnee Burke, Jeremy Burke, Cheyanne Parker, Dylan Parker & Dakota Parker and wife Jessica. Siblings include Mary Lou Lopez, Betty Aragon and Leon Aragon of Amarillo, Texas.  Luciana Aragon and Paul Aragon and wife Beverly of Clovis, New Mexico. Nieces are Carmela Smith and Vanessa Vega; nephew Gabriel Vega. A great niece, Isabella Smith and great nephew, Isaiah Smith.
