Lela Davis Hutchison, age 66 of Woodward formally of Amarillo, died June 22, 2016 in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 29th at 10:00 AM in Brentwood Chapel of Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia. The Rev. Eddie White of Woodward will officiate. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Lela was born on November 22, 1949 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Gale Monroe and Lela Nadyne Beckwith Davis. From an early age Lela brightened up any room she entered. She was jovial, quick witted and spread laughter where ever she may be, whether she was bartending, visiting with friends or enjoying time with family. Lela was enchanting and hilarious to be around and very kind hearted and giving. Lela was one of a kind; her presence will be forever missed and she will be forever loved.
The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, June 28th from 6 Pm until 7 PM.
Lela was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sheyla Wood and by a brother, Robert Davis.
She is survived by her husband Arley of Woodward, OK; a daughter, Brandy Wood of Amarillo; her two sons, Anthony Wood and his wife Lori of Argyle, TX and James Wood and his wife Shari of Centerville, Utah; and two brothers, Michael Davis of Amarillo and Harry Davis of Farmington, New Mexico; her two step-sons, Arley Hutchison Jr and his wife Tina and Lon Hutchison and his wife Verna all of Woodward and eight grandchildren.
