Leslie D. Corbett, Jr., 90, of Amarillo passed away May 17, 2015.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church with Nate Magloughlin officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia St.
Leslie was born July 16, 1924 in San Bernardino CA to Leslie Daley and Ellen Frances Corbett. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Sue Gallegly in Albuquerque NM June 21, 2003. Leslie was self-employed as a gunsmith and later in real estate. He was a Christian, an excellent musician and enjoyed making jewelry.
Survivors include his wife Sue; Step daughters, Laura Clark and Emily Simmons; three grandchildren, Connor Clark, Alison Hollabaugh, and Molly Rector, all of Amarillo; and one sister, Patricia Alexander, of Fallon, NV.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm today at the funeral home.
