Lillian Pauline Hine, 94, of Amarillo passed away to her Heavenly reward on July 31, 2014. She was born on July 10, 1920 to W. E. (Wilburn) Wilson and Rosa Elizabeth Tidwell.
Celebration of Service will be at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with Rev. Jerry Davey and Rev. Jeff Messer officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Pauline was born in Cass County, Texas near Linden. She married Earshell Hagood in 1938. They had six children. She married Lesley Hine (Curly) on June 12, 1970.
She previously lived and worked in Lubbock in food service management for Piggly Wiggly of Lubbock and Montgomery Ward of Amarillo. She was a member of the Grand Squares, Pioneer Promenaders and Diamond Jubilee square dance clubs. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church. Pauline was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her family was her life.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Lesley Hine; son Donnie Hagood, and sister Ola Faye Trantham.
She is survived by her son Eddie Hagood (Jeanette) of Canton; daughters Barbara McWhorter of Mt. Pleasant, Elizabeth Lowe (Glenn) of McKinney, Pam Montes (Johnny) and Debbie Stark (Danny) of Amarillo, step-children Ronnie Hine and Connie Hine of Amarillo, 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren
