Lillie Mae Adams of Amarillo, TX went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2012 at the age of 100. Services will be at Paramount Baptist Church on Wednesday. Visitation will be in the Fireside Room at 10:00am followed by the celebration of her life at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Pastor Lance Herrington will officiate. Graveside services 3:00 pm Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeview, TX.
Lillie Mae "Munner" was born in Lakeview, TX on November 14th, 1911 to Malcomb and Ella Kennard. She lived in Lesley, TX where she met her future husband, Dudley Adams. They married in Lakeview, TX in January 1929 and lived there for 20 years where they raised two sons, Bill & Wayne. They then moved to Borger, TX where she spent many years in retail, and attended First Baptist Borger. She moved to Amarillo in 1982 where she was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. Munner loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dudley Adams and son Billy Ray Adams. Survivors are Bill's wife Virginia Adams of Plano, their daughter Kim Dale; daughter Amy Middleton and husband Roger, daughter Lara Sheriff & husband Clay; son Wayne & wife Libby Adams of Overland Park, KS , their daughter Tanya Murphy and husband Pat of Waco, daughter Lisa Hooper and husband Clif of Waco and daughter Julie Marple of Lincoln, NE; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
