Linda was born May 26, 1948, in Pampa, Texas, to Lillian V. and Harold E. Crawford. She graduated from White Deer High School in 1966. Linda had a wonderful childhood growing up in the small towns of Spring Creek and later in Skellytown. She was the youngest of 3 girls and had many adventures with her sisters, from hiding from their daddy when he came home from work with snakes in his lunch box, flying with their Grandpa Everett in his Piper airplane, learning to drive a stick shift at a very young age, and loving on the many hunting dogs their family had.

At the age of 30, she went back to school and obtained her nursing license. It was one of her proudest accomplishments, along with winning the White Deer High School spelling bee when she was 13. Linda married Jerry Lynn Hibbs on October 17, 1981. They were active members of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. They were happily married for 24 years and enjoyed traveling, working around the house and yard together, and spending time with their families.

Linda treasured her daughters and their families. She’ll be remembered as a loving mother, good cook and baker, for her beautiful garden, spotless house, love of fishing, reading, learning to play the piano in her 50s, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, travel, attending church and being a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and reality TV shows. Chronic back pain didn’t keep her from visiting her family, Face-Timing with her grandchildren, decorating for all the holidays, and attending all her grandkids’ parties and events.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; and stepson, Todd Hibbs.

Survivors include two daughters; Kelly Seales and her husband, Greg of Heath and Christy Huddleston and her husband, Raymon of Rockwall; two stepsons Mike Hibbs and his wife, Frances of Amarillo and Scott Hibbs of Summerville, SC. Eight grandchildren; Brock Hibbs, Jessica Hibbs, Chase Bray, Hunter Seales, McKenzie Seales, Dane Hibbs, Daxx Huddleston, and Braylee Huddleston, great-granddaughters; Kennedy and Landyn Bray; her sisters, Colleen Williams and her husband, Frank of Clarendon and Sharon Kay Hovinga of Austin; sister-in-law, Karleen Hibbs of Amarillo, her best friend and dog, Maxx; numerous nieces, and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
