Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Bell Avenue Church of Christ with Mr. Glen Walton and Mr. Doug White officiating.  Burial will be at Dallas National Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Bill was born to John and Margret Dean White on September 20, 1930, in Wills Point, Texas.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and then worked as a mechanic for many years.  He also worked at Reece Air Force Base as a civil service worker.Survivors include one daughter, Judy Diane Stennett, Acuff, TX; five sons, Billy Eugene White, Jr., Wolfforth, TX; Allan White, White Settlement, TeX; Mark Shane White, Colorado Springs, CO; Jason Lee White, Hickory, NC;  and Dusty Drake White, Ashville, NC; three sisters, Annette Barehcars, Abernathy, TX; Joyce Reese and Doris Kendrick of Wellington, KS; four brothers, Bob White, Lake Dallas; John White, Idalou, TX; Doug White, Schurtz, TX; Jerry White, Wichita, KS; and Dennis White of Plainview; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The family requests memorials to The Children’s Home of Lubbock, in memory of Bill White, P.O.
