Lloyd Allen Finley

Lloyd Allen Finley, 60, of Amarillo died February 1, 2021.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Oasis Southwest Baptist Church, 8201 Canyon Dr. with Pastor Bradley Speer as officiant. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Lloyd was born May 10, 1960 to Milton Finley and Barbara Scofield. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1978 and married Sissy Getman on April 26, 1980. Lloyd worked most of his life in the concrete business with family, from his late father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and then his son. He was known for being a man of his word and an extremely hard worker. He was currently employed at A&S Contractors. Lloyd loved spending time traveling, gambling, and working in the backyard with the love of his life. He also loved the game of golf. He was such a proud Poppy and was there to support his grandkids at any and everything they participated in. Lloyd will be remembered for his faith and his serving heart. His love for the Lord showed in all he did. He treasured his friends and serving through the men’s ministry at Oasis Southwest Baptist Church.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara White; and step-father, Ivor White.

Survivors include his wife, Sissy Finley; son Daniel Finley and his wife, Dana; daughter, Tawney Shaltry, and husband, Daniel; 4 grandchildren, Hunter & Rylee Finley and Kade & Kolt Shaltry; brother, Todd Finley and wife, Sharol; and sister Vicki Finley all of Amarillo; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
