Lloyd C. White, 83, of Amarillo, died July 31, 2013.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3 at Second Baptist Church, 419 N Buchanan, with Brother Wayne Griffin and Dr. Charles Jones officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia St.
Lloyd was born on August 13, 1929 to Clayton and Edna Downs White in Canyon. He married Janette Ecker September 8, 1950 and retired from Trafton and Autrey Printing as a printing pressman. Along with spending time with his family at their cabin in New Mexico, he also enjoyed water skiing, boating and traveling.
He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Julie Reyes and husband Jerry; two sons, John David White and wife Sandra, Mike Ecker and wife Rita; six grandchildren, Brittany Cotgreave, Christina Reyes, David White, Ben White, Chris Ecker, Doug Ecker; and five great-grandchildren, Noah, Quinn, Ally, Ethan, and Jaidyn.
The family suggests memorials be made to Second Baptist Church, 419 N Buchanan, Amarillo, TX 79107.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Friday, August 2, at the funeral home.
