Lola was born July 26, 1922 in Wilkesboro, NC to James and Esther Harris. She met Cleo Golden in Williamsburg, VA and they married in 1946 in Canyon, Tx. She graduated from Amarillo College of Hairdressing in 1963 and was a hairdresser for over thirty years. She was a member of Clowns of America. She volunteered at the Amarillo Senior Citizens Center and the Veteran’s Hospital for over twenty-five years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cleo in 1989, and her son, Bill on March 8, 2009.
She is survived by two daughters, Katie Hagerman and Tanya Riley, both of Amarillo; three sisters, two brothers, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
