Lourine A. Cotton age 93 of Amarillo died January 16th in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 18th at 2:00 PM at Llano Cemetery. Mr. Glen Walton will officiate. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Lourine was born in LaGrange, Texas on December 20, 1922. She married Charles E. “Ted” Cotton on January 17, 1946 in Houston. Her life revolved around the lives of her family. She delighted serving others and was the epitome of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Lourine was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Elaine Cotton; her parents and by her husband, Ted in 2004.
She is survived by her two sons, Glen C. Cotton and his wife Cathy of Haskell, OK and James Cotton of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Christopher Cotton and wife Anne of Broken Arrow, OK, Cari Cotton of Abilene, TX, Valarie Cotton of Haskell, OK and Trisha Wiedel and husband Joey of Haskell, OK; and four great-grandchildren, Sonny, Tanner, Cara and Taylor.
The family suggests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
