Loveta Lowery, age 83, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 30, at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Messer officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Loveta was born in Brownsville, Texas, January 26, 1930 to Salis and Rose Evans. She married T. J. Lowery on July 3, 1949, in Happy, Texas. She was a housewife for more than 50 years and worked Out Reach Health Care for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, and two sisters.
Loveta is survived by four daughters; Patricia Clark and husband Glen of Denver, CO., Cathy Janow and husband Randal, Beverly Kirsch and husband Von, and Debra Moore and husband Kevin all of Amarillo; two sisters, Marie Prosser of Amarillo, and Florene Evans of Canyon; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Don & Sybil Harrington Foundation-BSA Hospice Olivia’s Angels, 1600 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, at the funeral home.
