Mabry Clyde Mace

November 25, 1921 — March 1, 2010

I have kept the faith”, II Timothy 4:7.Clyde was a Christian, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Ombudsman for the Elderly, Counselor, Advisor, Mentor, Friend, Caretaker, Entertainer, Chef, Salesman, Manager, Life Master in Bridge, WWII Flight Instructor in the Army Air Corps.  His was a life well-lived and well-loved.  We’ll miss him until we see him again. Clyde is survived by Judy Arredondo and husband, Mark; Toni Woody, Kay Carpenter, Pat Jones and husband, Gary.  He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great – grandchildren, a loving family from Bivins Nursing Home/Family Counsel and his St. Peter’s Episcopal Church family, where he served for many years. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 6th, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 4714 NW 4th St., Amarillo, TX.  Father Talifero will officiate.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Amarillo, TX, or Bivins Memorial Nursing Home, 1001 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
