Madeline Gail Menefee

In July, a Celebration of Life will be held in Amarillo, Texas. Madeline Gail Menefee was born on July 12, 1943, in Decatur, Alabama. She inspired and blessed all who knew her, even during her fierce and courageous five-year journey with ovarian cancer. She is survived by her daughters:  Charissa Menefee of Prescott, AZ, Melanie Menefee Carter of Nashville, TN, and Amanda Menefee of Anderson, SC; her mother, Vivian Cook Speegle of Decatur, AL; her sister, Janet Thrasher of Warrior, AL; her brother, Jerry Speegle of Mobile, AL; and ten grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be given, in her name, to Princess Warriors Gynecologic Cancer Support Group, c/o Nina Beth Hargrove, 4707 Ashville Place, Amarillo, TX  79119.
