Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 6, 2013 at First United Methodist Church,

Margaret was born August 31, 1923 to Henry W. and Marie Knak Epp, on a farm south of Meade, Kansas.
She attended grade school near Elbing, KS, graduating from Newton High School, and Salt City Business College in Hutchinson KS... Margaret made an adventurous move to Los Angeles, CA, with a friend and worked as a bank teller. Missing the Midwest small town friendliness she was accustomed to, she returned to her roots in Kansas a year later.
Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashland. She accepted Jesus as her savior and was immersed in baptism at an early age. She taught Sunday school and helped however needed. She worked as a bookkeeper at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Stockgrowers State Bank, Seacat Feedlot, and Ashland Co-Op. She served two terms as Clark County Treasurer.
She married William Raymond (Ray) Schwartz on September 4, 1954 at the First Mennonite Church of Newton, KS... He preceded her in death on December 1, 1999. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ashland, KS.
Margaret is survived by a son William E. (Bill) Schwartz and wife Nancy (Nichols) of Amarillo; two granddaughters Tisha Schwartz of Irving, TX. and Katie Schwartz of Amarillo; four beloved grand dogs Jett, Hope, Sadie and Bo. Also surviving are siblings; Lucile Ewert of Hutchinson, KS., Verna Hofer and husband Al of Mitchell, S.D., and Mary Ann Kroeker and husband Dave of Filadelfia, Paraguay; Wesley Epp of Inman, KS, Herb Epp of Garden City, KS and Tony Epp and wife Jo of Ponca City, OK.;
Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
