Ann Todd, 65, of Amarillo died Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, December 9, 2011 at Paramount Baptist Church with Dr. Gil Lain officiating. Private family interment will be in Llano Cemetery.
Ann was born April 4, 1946. After graduating from Texas Tech, she began a 34 year career as an Amarillo ISD English teacher. She adored her job and was privileged to teach thousands of sophomores from Palo Duro, Caprock, and Amarillo High School.
Her most meaningful accomplishments and treasures were found in her precious husband of 43 years, her daughters and their husbands, and grandchildren. Ann loved the Lord and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dysart and Margaret Holcomb, and brother, Dysart Holcomb, Jr.
Her legacy includes her dear husband, Frank Todd, of Amarillo, two daughters Jennifer Hawley and husband Kyle of Amarillo, and Amy Shupp and husband Anthony of Midland; a sister, Carolyn Bjorkback of Springfield, IL; a brother, John Holcomb of Monterrey, CA; and 5 grandchildren, Aaron and Sydnie Hawley, and Emma, Claire, and Blaine Shupp.
The family suggests memorials be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, at www.lls.org or 1311 Mamaroneck Ave. Ste. 310, White Plains, NY 10605 in honor of her grandson, Aaron Hawley, leukemia survivor.
