Margie R Pollan

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Brother Steven E. Nelson of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Margie was born in Vernon, Texas to Ronald C. and Ruby Emmons Pollan on October 21, 1952. She was formerly employed by Beltline Tire Center, a family owned business, and World of Outlaws Racing.  She was also a retired real estate agent, having worked for Action Realty Group, another family owned business, and was co-owner of Century 21 Boston Real Estate.

Margie loved her Lord, her family, and her friends.  She enjoyed NASCAR and was a great race car driver.  She had a passion for the beach and loved all dogs.

Upon her admission into BSA Hospice, she prayed, cared, and nurtured other hospice patients and their families.  The family wishes to express many thanks to Texas Tech Internal Medicine Department, Texas Oncology, and BSA Hospice for their outstanding care of Margie.

Margie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Pollan.

Survivors include her father, Ron Pollan and wife, Mary Ellen (“Auntie M”); sister, Queena Harvey and husband, Barry; son Paul Pollan and Jennifer Gentry; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Pollan all of Amarillo; nephew, Noel Scribner and great nephew, Jake Scribner of Arlington; uncles, Bobby Joe Emmons and wife Pat of Cumby, Texas, and Jerry Emmons of Greenville, Texas; and extended family, Pat Lambert of Vernon, Jeff Holman of Amarillo, and the Robert N. Wilkinson, Jr. family also of Amarillo.
