Marguerite Green

Mrs. Green was born December 4, 1918, in Gainesville, Texas to Finley William and Sarah Parthenia Proffer.  She married Robert O. Green October 21, 1942 in Gainesville, Texas and has resided in Amarillo for the last 63 years.She is preceded in death by her parents; ten siblings; her husband in 1987; a grandson, Scott Palmer in 1999; son-in-law, Mel Larkin in 2007, and numerous loved ones.Survivors include three children, Vicki Palmer and husband Sid of Cuchara, CO; Gayle Larkin of Albuquerque, NM; and one son, Tony Green and wife Barbara of Amarillo; five grandchildren Ricky, Steve, Shawna, Nicole, and Casandra; nine great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Kameron, Ashley, Devon, Kalynn, Connor, Bryanna, Savannah, and Ethan. She was loved very much by her family and will be missed dearly.
