Ms MARION ELIZABETH BAYLE

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 19, 2011 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Regi Fowler officiating.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Marion was born October 2, 1922 to Lewis and Ella Feldhan Fredrechsen in Walnut, Iowa.  She married Robert Bayle at Camp Richie which is now known as Camp David, Maryland  on April 10, 1943.  Marion retired from her position as executive secretary to various superintendents with the Amarillo Independent School District in 1987.
Marion was a 59 year member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a sustaining member of the Byron Gist Sunday School class. Marion was a member of the Sarah Bowen Circle and was nominated and selected as “Woman of Faith” at Westminster. Marion was an avid bridge player and was one the very first residents of the Craig Methodist Retirement Center. Marion was past president of the Former St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at Baptist St. Anthony’s hospital as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bayle, her parents and her brother, Kenneth Fredrechsen.

Survivors include one daughter, Judith Bayle of Amarillo; two sons, Daryl Bayle and wife Kathryne of Fairview, TX. Mike Bayle and wife Julie of Kennewick, WA and  grandchildren, Alan, Cory, Ryan, Amy and Allison; and one great-grandson, Nolan Robert.
