Marjorie Sperry Wilkins

Marjorie Sperry Wilkins, 88, of Amarillo, passed away November 11, 2014 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2014 at Llano Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia, Amarillo, TX.
Marjorie was born on March 25, 1926 in Follett, TX to Walter C. and Helen M. Sperry. She married Ervin Wilkins in 1946. He passed away November 15, 1969. Marjorie retired as Vice President of First National Bank of Amarillo after 39 years of service. She had a passion for gambling. She was also an avid golfer and loved to travel and fish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 sisters, Fay Kliewer, Edith Caldwell and Belva Padgett and her brother, Virgil “Pete” Sperry.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Coeta Sperry Haliburton of Follett, and her nieces and nephews, Julia Nelson of Amarillo, Cheryl Boone and Carol Cook of Follett, Brenda Bartley of Houston, Sandra Robinson of Amarillo, Neal Sperry and Rodlee Williamson of Follett and Wally Padget of College Station; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; and several special friends, as well as friends at Canyon View Estates.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
