Mark Robert Souza

Mark Robert Souza, 50, of Panhandle, passed away November 16, 2018.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S.  Georgia St.

Mark was born on November 8, 1968 in San Francisco, California and has lived in Texas since 1980. Mark was loving, generous and kind. He had a talent for building things with his hands. He helped with many jobs for his community and for the City of Amarillo. Mark worked for the School Sisters of St. Francis in Panhandle at the time of his death. He was the type of person that would help anyone who needed assistance. He was a good father, son and brother and enjoyed cooking out, having his family together and fishing with his friends. Mark loved his family and was loved by his  family and friends as well. He will be missed tremendously.

Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Mitchell; son, Joshua Souza; three sisters, Shelly Harris and husband, Jimmy of Amarillo, Sheila Rodriguez, of Oklahoma and Sandra Diana of California; two brothers, Bruce Castillo and wife Willie and Gary Castillo and wife Sonia all of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved him dearly.

There is peace in knowing he is now with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
